The Keisar variety is a new oat cultivar in Israel, developed by the Volcani Institute (ARO).

It originates from genetic material sourced from the Americas, which underwent intentional selection for high growth rates, high dry matter (DM) yield, and wide stems.

The variety was field-tested across various seasons and environments, demonstrating superiority in these parameters compared to Saya-4, the leading commercial variety in Israel.
